We arrange every aspect of your cosmetic surgery, from free consultation by e-mail to airport pick-up and departure. Our English speaking team will organize your entire stay in Bucharest, Romania. It is very easy to apply for your free cosmetic surgery consultation.

Step 1
Just send us and email with your request to consultation@surgery-abroad.org . Do not forget to attach photographs of the areas to be treated from the front and also profile. All information will be treated with the strictest confidence.

Step 2
A cosmetic surgeon will follow-up on your request. She or he will discuss every medical aspect of your particular case. You will be informed of all the details about your case including medical procedures, aftercare details, accommodation, travel arrangements etc. Once the plastic surgeon has personally evaluated your case, he or she will provide you with a quote for your cosmetic surgery procedure.

Step 3
If you are decided to make an operation, please book your flight and send us the flight confirmation by e-mail. One of our employee, will pick-up from the airport and take you to a clinic for a free consultation. Here one of our doctor will explain you all the aspects of the medical procedure.In this way, you are able to make the right decision.

Also is important before coming here to take medical tests to make sure that everything is OK and you are prepare to undergo surgery. This medical tests we will send you by our cosmetic surgeon, depending which medical procedure do you chose . Before coming to Romania, it is imperative that you undertake some medical tests, in order to establish wether it is safe for you to have the surgery. Based on the surgery you choose, our cosmetic surgeons will inform you on the necessary tests.

Are they dissolvable stitches or removal stitches?

Internal stitches are dissolvable, external have to be removed after some time, for example by your doctor. This procedure is explained to you before you leave the clinic and more than that, you will receive a very detailed post-operation instructions in English.

Do you take out the stitches or do I need to get my own doctor to do that?

After liposuction there are no stitches. But after for example tummy
tuck or breast enlargement or other operations, we take off stitches from 7-12 days after the surgery (in our clinic it is free of charge). But most of our patients do this in their country to avoid bearing costs connected with flying back to the clinic.

What about the stitches removal ?

If you can not afford to stay in Bucharest until the stitches removal, you can remove them in your country .

What exactly is included in the price of the cosmetic surgery procedure?

Our prices include : consultation with plastic surgeon, the surgery, anaesthesia, all medication, all post-operative treatments including stitches removal, dressing and surgical wear. All the taxes are included in the prices listed on our website.

Flight tickets are not included in packages. Usually a flight ticket (Round Trip) from UK to Bucharest costs £90 - £120.Our team can help you to find the best deal for your flight.

How do I pay for the surgery?

If you decide to use our professional services we will send you an invoice by email. You need to pay in advance 25% of total cost. The payment can be done via wire transfer or credit card. The rest of the payment should be made after your consultation with our cosmetic surgeon. If you decide to cancel the operation, we will return your payment in full, except for the cost of one night of accommodation.

May a family member or a friend stay with me on the day of my surgery?

Yes, you can be lead by someone for the pre-operative tests and the consultation. When you will be hospitalized the person to accompany will have to leave and we will inform him / her about the process of your surgery. He / She can visit you once you wake up after general anaesthetic. You can also provide us with any phone numbers, e-mails of your relatives or friends whom you wish us to inform about the success of your surgery.

Are there any restrictions or advice before undergoing surgery?

You should have your last meal at least 6 hours before your cosmetic surgery. In the morning of the surgery day you should not be having any meals, coffee or tea. It is strongly recommended to drink only water.

What about post-operational aftercare?

Depending on the cosmetic surgery, the doctor performing the operation will give you a kit of medication (antibiotics, anti-inflammatory tablets and pain killers). Every 2-3 days we will take you for a free consultation and exchanging bandages to your plastic surgeon. This transfer is free and you will be lead by your personal assistant. If you are staying in Romania until the stitches are removed your plastic surgeon will remove them. Otherwise you will have to arrange the stitches removal by yourself in your country. This is simple procedure and it is not expensive.

How do I reach my doctor during recovery time?

During your stay in Bucharest your plastic surgeon will see you during your free check-ups. In case of emergencies you will contact your personal assistant who will immediately inform the doctor about your problem.
